Brief Introduction: Chongqing Economic & Technological Development Zone was approved to establish by the State Council in Apr. 1993. It is the only one national development zone in Southwest China. It has a planned area of 9.6 square km. Preferential policies for opening coast citis in China are performed in the zone. It lies in Nanping of the south bank of central Chongqing, facing the city center across the Changjiang River. There are a bridge connecting the development zone and the city center.
