Brief Introduction: Huizhou Dayawan Economic & Technological Development Zone was approved to set up by the State Council in May 1993. It is one of national development zones in China. It adjoins Shenzhen. It is 60 km or 47 sea miles away from Hongkong. Huizhou Port is the better deepwater port in South China. There are over 100 berthes above 10,000 tonnage can be built. There are two 35,000 tonnage berthes, one 150,000 tonnage berth, one 10,000 tonnage berth having been made. Over ten countries and areas have invested in this area. The project of Nanhai petrolum & chemistry has been approved to be made by the State Planning Commission. This is the biggest joint venture project in China now. Its total investment value is of 4.46 billion USD.
