Brief Introduction: It was approved as a state-level Border Economic Cooperation Zone by the State Council in July 1992. Located in Heihe City, and faces to Blagoveshchensk, across the river, the third greatest city in the Far East of Russia. Heihe is the biggest and nearest homologue city with the highest standard and perfect function along the Sino-Russia border. It is a key position to carry on foreign trade and economic cooperation with Russia. The region is abundant with various natural resources such as minerals, land, water, animal and flora as well tourism.
