Brief Introduction: Tacheng city is located in northwestern Xinjiang and adjacent to Kazakhstan.
The zone was approved to establish by the State Council in Dec., 1992. It adjoins the city in the east and near to the port in the west, covering 6.5 km2 and is 12 km from Port of Baketu, the first-level national port. The zone is composed of commercial center of border trading, import and export processing section, storing section and port service section.
Commercial center has made agreement with Yuhua Company from Guangdong and Yinyu Company from Hong Kong to set up Tacheng International Trade Corridor together. The first phase project will begin within this year and cover 50,000 square meters of commercial area.
