Brief Introduction: The zone is a province-level development zone which was set up in 1992 and approved in Oct., 1994 by Liaoning provincial government. It is located in the east of Liaoning peninsula and at the entry of Yellow Sea for Yalu River that is the boundary river between China and North Korea, facing to Korea peninsula across Yalu River and Yellow Sea. It has predominant geographical location along river, coastal and frontier. The first-phase planned area of the whole zone is 10 square kilometers and is divided into 8 functional areas such as industry manufacturing, bonded warehousing, commodity trading etc. and it has established province-level “Taiwan Industrial Park”. Donggang Economic Development Zone has an international commercial port Dadong Port that can handle up to 3,000,000 tons of cargo and with power-plant that can supply 2,600,000 kilowatts. It's basic facilities such as railroad, road, communications, watering and drainage etc. heating, water supply, sewerage, communications etc., have been completed. Therefore it can offer “One step service” for investors come to our zone.
