Brief Introduction: Penglai Economic Development Zone is a provincial-level development zone established with the approval of Shandong Provincial Government in 1992. It lies 5 km to the east of downtown penglai, a renowned "Fairyland on Earth". It has a total planned area of 22 sq.km. The infrastucture including water supply, draining, communication, roads, power supply, land preparation within the initially developed area of 13 sq. km has been completed, and the service system is well established. With an excellent geographical location and convenient transportation facilities, it is 70 km from Yantai airport, railway station and habour, 200 km from Qingdao airport and habour, 66 sea miles from Liaodong Peninsula. It is adjacent to Penglai New Port -- a national Grade A port. The excellent hardware and software have been attracting a great number of investors wordwide.
