Jiangsu Science and Technology Office recently announced the province's special funding for translating scientific findings. The EVD and DVD LCD high-definition TV commercialization project of Shinco Electronic Group of Wujin was one of the few projects to obtain 16 million RMB funding. It is by far the largest funded project of this kind in Wujin.
The project mainly involves the R&D of Version 2.0 EVD players, 2.0 EVD LCD TVs and Mobile EVD players. After completion, it will enable Shinco Group to annually produce 450,000 EVDs as the world's the largest EVD manufacturer. The 16 million RMB funding will provide strong backing for translating the scientific findings of Shinco Group and fostering a high-tech sector with proprietary IPRs.
